Our team of professional and courteous guides have an intimate knowledge of Montana's rivers and streams. Each fly fishing guide has his own

1. Austin Lowder is the owner/outfitter of Sea and Stream Outfitters and has personally guided fly fisherman across
the state of Montana for the past 14 years. His fishing style is one-of-a-kind, and his sense of adventure makes each fishing trip unique. As with all of
the guides of Sea and Stream Outfitters, Austin welcomes all types of anglers and enjoys sharing the Montana fly fishing
experience.
2. Louis Bishop moved to the Gallatin Valley 15 years ago in search of the perfect river. A native of southwest Florida and a fisherman
from birth, he grew up catching bass, redfish, snook, and tarpon. His passion for fishing expanded when he graduated from college and
permanently relocated to Bozeman, Montana. On any given day, Louis can be found rafting, kayaking, or guiding fly fisherman on Montana's rivers.
3. Brad Ehrnman has been living and fly fishing in southwest Montana for the past 10 years. Originally from Virginia, Brad has had a
life-long interest in the outdoors and fly fishing. His easy-going nature and instructive style enable him to be successful with beginning
anglers and the most seasoned veterans. His extensive knowledge and experience make him a great guide for the angler who wishes to learn something on
Montana's rivers and catch BIG trout. Brad is also an accomplished artist who specializes in painting what he knows best, fish in oils.
4. Robert Boyce has taken anglers of all levels out for days on the river they will never forget in Montana and Alaska.
Between guiding fly fishermen during the summers and co-owning a fly fishing travel agency, Robert has made the fly fishing industry his full time job.
Whether you are a first timer or an experienced angler, Robert will be sure to take care of all your needs and expectations while making sure that you
enjoy your day on the water.
5. Dain Trafton grew up in Maine and began fly fishing at the age of nine. In the past 13 years, he has lived and guided
in Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska. He fell in love with the endless fishing and recreational opportunities Montana has to
offer and decided to make Livingston, Montana his home. Dain looks forward to sharing his knowledge of fishing and his passion for the outdoors
with you.
6. Cale Van Velkhinburgh began guiding at the age of 17 in his hometown of Frisco, CO where he spent 10 years guiding the
South Platte river, Colorado river, and Blue River. After spending one too many winters guiding in sub-zero temperatures in Colorado, Cale opted to guide in
Patagonia, Chile and moved his summers to Bozeman, Montana. He is currently on the Scott Fly Rod Pro Staff, and now spends the winters
fishing and traveling to the warmer climates where any number of saltwater species can be found. Of course, he returns in the summers to guide the
Yellowstone river, Gallatin river, and Madison river.
7. Bill Buchbauer grew up in Montana and has led a lifestyle many people dream about. Skiing deep powder in the
mountains and exploring the great Montana rivers while kayaking, fly fishing, and hunting have given him an intimate connection
with the Montana landscape and wildlife. Having the opportunity to work as a guide has made it possible for him to continue
that connection by being on the river nearly everyday in the summers. Eight years of guiding, and every day Bill sees and learns something new. Sharing
experiences on the river with clients has led to many great friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.
8. Jimmy Johnson believes he has found his slice of angling heaven here in southwestern Montana after spending 20 years
guiding in the Florida Keys, the Bahamas, and countless fishing trips around the world. The quality of the Montana fishing, the awesome scenery,
and the wide open spaces of the West make him believe that this area is one of the BEST angling destinations on the planet.
9. Trey Coon has been actively guiding the rivers and streams of southwest Montana for 7 years. This experience is what
keeps anglers coming back to him year after year. Trey is very passionate about fly fishing, and it shows. He goes to great lengths to
show his clients the best experience possible. Each fall Trey trades in his fly rod for a shotgun and is found guiding clients on bird hunts, both
upland and waterfowl, throughout Montana.
10. Aaron Pewell grew up fishing and hunting in Ohio. After graduating from Denison University, Aaron took a job with the
US Forest Service in Gardiner, Montana. After one summer exploring the West, Aaron was convinced that Montana was the place to
be. He has been guiding in Montana since 1999. Aaron is a patient, knowledgeable teacher and a true steward of the environment. He lives in
Livingston, Montana with his wife Meriweather, son Wister, and three hounds.
11. Jordan Gage moved to Bozeman, Montana from Vermont 12 years ago. His patience, perserverance, wit, and charm
make him one of Montana's finest fishing guides. His drive to fish is second to none, and more often than not, he is the last guy
off the water ar the end of the day. He is one of the few full time fishing guides who fishes on his days off. Through the winter months, he spends his time
remodeling homes, hunting, tying flies, and mostly catching big trout.
